What's even better than a white Christmas?
... An Apple-Christmas! And i'm certainly not talking about hot cider and apple pie... I'm much more thinking of two slim, elegant, glamorous, making-life-so-much-easier, must have devices. Literally speaking the 4s and the iPad2. And yes I'm an extraordinarily lucky young woman with excessively generous grandparents (as you may have noticed- I turned 18 a couple of days ago and therefore I'm now a grown-up).
And by the way - even though christmas was very much influenced by Steve Jobs' legacy and Siri - it was very much white too. (; And I'm definately going to upload some snow-mountain-bluesky-winterwonderland-pictures (taken with my new camera).
However, I'm off to my boyfriends parents house to celebrate christmas --- again!
Happy Holidays!

He might he might he might have made my week
While I'm at it I want to make a couple of quick statements about last friday night's center of attention:
1. On CD his voice is amazing. On stage his voice is something in between angels singing, snowflakes falling gently down to earth, a warm heart and a cristal clear sky with lots of stars. (absolutely breathtaking and not possible to describe in any way)
2. He has an extremely good sense of humor - not cheap humor, not black humor but very intelligent humor [like]
3. He thinks the same of Lady Gaga as I do (creepy creepy person!)
4. His lyrics are pure poetry
5. He's from Belgium and listening to his music makes me feel a lot closer to my sister
6. He wrote 'our' song
7. I can picture myself still listening to his music in 30(!) years from now
8. There are songs I can listen to after getting up in the morning, before going to sleep at night, while studying math(!), in the car, in the kitchen, infront of the fireplace, while walking the dog, when I'm sad, when I'm excessively happy, when I'm in love and also when I just sit and listen, just like that.
9. I can imagine him beeing a fun person to hang out for an evening with lots of friends and good red wine.
10. Last but not least, you can sing his songs without beeing an amazing singer (at least when you're taking a shower or you're in the car) and it's lots of fun.
On that note: Thank you, Milow - Hope to hear you soon!

Fashion Victim
Friday morning I walked into my german class and sat down. While doing so, I took a quick look at the blackboard and I do have to say that I was extremely surprised to read 'Patrizia Pepe' since my teacher prefers to wear old no-name jeans and worn out t-shirts (no offense).
Turns out that when I took another look at the blackboard he didn't write 'Patrizia Pepe' but 'Patrizier' and 'Plebejer' which is German for some ancient rich and poor people (or something like that). It's definately not the name of one of my favourite designer's anyway...
Now that's what it's like being a fashion victim...
In case you may be wondering who Patrizia Pepe might be (shame on you!)
This is Patrizia:
And while we're at it: Patrizia's also the person responsible for me not freezing to death this winter... but that's another story (involving a lot of luck and the kind of coat I usually wouldn't be able to afford)
